Alex contacted me from Connecticut and wanted a custom spinning rod he could use for light surf fishing in his area, as well as for the many inshore species in Florida. He told me what he was thinking and what his requirements were. I Gave him some options in blanks and he settled on a Lamiglas blank with a split grip carbon fiber handle.
