Cory Brenner is the proud owner of a Reel Tech Custom Steelhead Float Rod. This rod is built on a St. Croix SCIII 10’6″ 6-10# blank. Cory chose a Fuji NPS reel seat with full length cork rear and fore grips. He chose the lightweight, strong, and near indestrucible REC titanium guides to finish out his custom build. The rod came out beautifully and he was very pleased. The smile on his face when it was delivered to him said it all. He is excited to put this new custom jig fishing tool to use on some steelhead.
I fished my custom float rod yesterday. Awesome rod John! It’s now the lightest, nicest, awesome-est float rod I have. Love the REC guides. This rod accompanied with my carbon fiber Stradic is now my go to float rod. Everyone in my boat had to cast it. It wasn’t easy to share. Thanks John! You did a great job!! Cory CCFF the 3rd
