2-11&12-11 Upper River Jig Fishing
The fishing in the middle Rogue has been slow so far this year. The fish are on their way however and with rain scheduled for the coming week, it should be on when the river drops back in.
Friday and Saturday were spent on the upper Rogue to see if the fish wanted to play up there. The fish were much more cooperative, and although not as bright as chrome winter fish in the middle Rogue, they were VERY willing to chomp the Reel Tech Steelhead jigs!!!

2-2-11-Main Umpqua Maribou Magic
Nice chrome winter steelhead caught on the Main Umpqua with a 1/4 oz Reel Tech Steelhead Jig in pink/orange. Look at that mouthful of maribou in that hen’s mouth!!! Just goes to show ya, sometimes bigger jigs get the job done!!

Had a great day on the water with my good friends Jon Geyer and Clay Sandlin. We landed 5 fish this day. Winter Steelheading at its finest. Beautiful weather and willing fish!

My good friend Barry Filippone took some friends out on a small Klamath River tributary this past weekend and was able to put some steelhead in the boat using Reel Tech Steelhead Jigs!!

Some Winter Steelhead Candy
Here are a few of my favorite hand tied winter Steelhead jigs. These jigs have brought alot of fish to the net, and are some of my favorites for this time of year. Steelhead can’t resist em’!!
All the jig heads are hand poured in 1/8 oz with premium Gamakatsu 604 heavy wire jig hooks, coated in powder paint, and then coated in clear coat sparkle to give them a strong durable finish. They are all tied with more maribou than you will find in any other jig, which gives them an unmistakable fish catching look when in the water. A little crystal flash is used in some variations. There are no corners cut and only the finest materials are used in making Reel Tech Steelhead Jigs. GET THE NET!!!
